Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 101 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start those conversations BEFORE we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.

Topics of discussion

I've been wondering what are some other topics we can discuss on the blog. I'd rather not be limited to discussing the assigned books. So if anyone wants to strike up a good discussion, it would be a welcome distraction.

  1. Well Jack there are many topics of discussion other than the book like the paper that we have and I'll say that the paper is going well but I still need to email it to Armando but I want to add more information to it, and the first group critique with my edited group went better than expected for me it was a fun time

    1. I've just sent mine after cheeking my tigermail, and finding a reminder from prof. Talbird. Thanks for replying. As for this topic, I'm finding this to be the most difficult assignment so far. What about you?

  2. I agree that this is the most difficult paper thus far. My thoughts are all over the place and I'm having trouble figuring out what to write.
