Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 101 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start those conversations BEFORE we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.

School bullying

In your opinion, do you think bullying should be prohibit in NYC public schools? And why teachers, principals, and faculty staffs don't help the students due to bullying?

  3. It really should be prohibit in every school, because it affects the psychology of the aggressor and the victim. I think there are several schools in which faculty staff do help students, if they don't, I believe they should help them because they are there to keep the order in the school environment.

  4. Of Course bullying should be prohibited from schools. It can harm students psychologically which can ultimately lead to physical harm to students against themselves or others. However , unfortunately no matter how much faculty and staff try to prevent it, it will still occur, so we have to try our best to help out others if we see it happening.

  5. School bullying in any state should be prohibited because it can effect a student mentally and physically. People commit suicide/ murder due to bullying. I just feel like people don't pay much attention to it or see how serious it can get. No matter how much people try to prevent it bullying will still occur we just have to try to bring the bullying down.

  6. School bullying should never be allowed anywhere. Bullying anywhere whether in school or outside of school is unacceptable in my opinion.
